The short version
Odysa is being built carefully, and we treat your privacy the same way. We collect the minimum information needed to operate, never sell your data, and give you full control over what you share with us.
This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
Odysa ("we," "our," "us") is an AI-powered travel platform based in Cebu, Philippines, building products that help travelers plan, discover, and remember meaningful journeys. You can reach us anytime at hello.odysa@outlook.com.
2. What we collect
At this stage (pre-launch):
- Email address — only if you choose to join our waitlist, used solely to notify you when Odysa opens to the public.
- Basic website analytics — anonymized data such as page views, device type, and approximate location (country/region), used to understand how visitors find and use our site.
At launch and beyond, we may also collect:
- Account information you provide (name, profile preferences, travel interests).
- Trip and itinerary data you create within the app.
- Photos, notes, or memories you choose to save to your trip.
- Booking-related information when you use our partner integrations.
We will update this policy with full detail before any of the above is collected.
3. How we use your information
We use your information only to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve Odysa.
- Send you product updates you've explicitly opted into.
- Provide customer support when you contact us.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.
4. Third-party services we rely on
Like most modern products, Odysa relies on a small number of trusted service providers, including:
- Firebase (Google) — hosting and backend infrastructure.
- Email delivery providers — to send waitlist notifications.
- Analytics providers — for anonymized site usage metrics.
These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and may process data on our behalf only as needed to operate Odysa.
5. Cookies
We use minimal cookies to keep the site functional and to understand general traffic patterns. We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioral tracking. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time.
6. Your rights
You can, at any time:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete your information.
- Withdraw consent and unsubscribe from any communications.

7. Data security
We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data the way we'd want ours treated.
8. Children's privacy
Odysa is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. International users
Odysa is operated from the Philippines. If you are accessing the service from outside the Philippines, please understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the Philippines.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Odysa evolves. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date above and, for any material changes, notify you by email if you've subscribed to our waitlist.
